Eliminate or not cow’s milk and its byproducts

Hello, Hello!!!! We will talk in this blog a little about the dilemma of whether to consume dairy or not, I will speak from my experience, and I believe that it should be a personal decision, to consume it or not. I will always lead you to become aware of how to feed yourselves, depending on the reactions of your body that sometimes do not allow you to have optimal health and therefore quality of life.

From the time we are born, we grow up in homes where drinking milk is indispensable to grow and keep our bones and teeth healthy. The dairy industry has also sold us this idea. I remember, in my house, when I was little, we had to drink a glass of milk before going to bed.

Over the years, and with so much information about food and diseases, dairy products have fallen into the limelight of causing serious consequences such as cancer, obesity, osteoporosis, allergies, digestive problems, among others.

Scientific studies from prestigious universities have shown that dairy products cause the above list of diseases. But it is not easy to give up dairy if we have grown up with it throughout our lives, besides, most of the foods we eat can have it, such as cheeses, milk creams, etc. Therefore, changing the inculcated eating habits is very difficult.

There are a number of people who are lactose intolerant, which is the sugar in milk. This intolerance is a disease that many people suffer from, and sometimes they are unaware of it, confusing it with bad digestion, since the symptoms are bloating and general stomach discomfort, gas, acidity, etc. Therefore, it is important to keep in mind that we may be lactose intolerant.

Lactose intolerance is due to the lack of an enzyme, lactase, which causes dairy products not to be processed properly. Lactose intolerance, therefore, is not a disease, but a normal physiological state. This occurs because between two and four years of age, our body begins to lose the power of the enzyme lactase, which is responsible for digesting lactose. By continuing to consume milk, the undigested lactose remains in the intestine, where it is fermented by bacteria in the colon, causing gas, pain and even diarrhea.

It is true that milk and dairy products, in general, provide calcium, but there are also countless plant foods that surpass it in terms of calcium intake.

The calcium in milk and dairy products combines with other minerals found in excessive amounts in animal milk, forming a molecule too large to be absorbed adequately by the human intestine. We are the only animal species that consumes milk from other animals.

Cow's milk is full of bacteria and therefore must go through a pasteurization process, it also contains antibiotics, and cows are given antibiotics to prevent them from ceasing milk production due to udder diseases, as well as other medications.

Cow's milk and its by-products such as cheese, butter, yogurt, etc. contain excessive amounts of female hormones. Eighty percent of cows are pregnant while being used to produce milk, which naturally raises the levels of these hormones. In addition, they are injected with synthetic hormones to increase their milk production. These high levels of female hormones in the food chain have been linked to health problems around the world, also associated with precocious puberty.

Cow's milk and its derivatives also contain large amounts of fat, which obstructs the arteries, even in young people.

The consumption of cow's milk and other dairy products is associated with asthma and allergies, as well as acne and premature wrinkling of the skin, increases cholesterol, which causes heart disease.

As you can see, it is a dilemma to consume cow's milk and its derivatives, since this summarized information, which I present to you, has been known for a long time, and what we cannot deny, is that today, there are many more people suffering from diseases at a young age.

There are many other alternatives of vegetable milks and milk derivatives that can help us to receive the necessary nutrients for our organism.

I want to clarify that I only give you the information for you to make the decision, I eliminated animal dairy from my life, and the truth is that my health and skin have improved remarkably.

So I can only tell you to always decide for your health.
