I'm often asked, ‘What's the best exercise I can do?’. And while many people expect me to tell them something like running, weight lifting, spinning, pilates or yoga, the reality is that the best exercise is simply moving your body, and doing it every day!


Each of us has different preferences, lifestyles and needs, but what really matters is keeping our bodies moving. The truth is that our bodies were designed to move. Not to sit for hours in front of a screen or in a chair, but to walk, stretch, dance, jump, whatever, but to move!


Why is it so important to move?


Moving your body is not only vital for keeping you physically fit, but also for your mental

health. Exercise is one of the best ways to reduce stress, increase energy and improve your mood.


When you move, your body releases endorphins, those feel-good hormones - it's like a little dose of instant happiness! Plus, by moving your body, you're also helping to improve your circulation, strengthen your heart and, of course, tone your muscles. Movement is life, and every little effort counts.


So, what is the best exercise?


The best exercise is one that you enjoy, because when you enjoy what you do, you find it

much easier to stick with it. It's not about forcing yourself to go to the gym if you don't like it or going for long walks if it bores you. It's about finding that activity that makes you feel good and keeps you motivated to move every day. That's the key!


It could be a dance class that gets you moving with the music, a walk in nature that connects you with the fresh air, or even something as simple as stretching or yoga to start your day.
