Today I want to talk to you about one of my passions: food. But not just any food, but functional foods, those little treasures that nature offers us to nourish our body and mind.
What are functional foods?
Functional foods are those that, in addition to providing us with basic nutrients, contain
bioactive components that provide us with specific health benefits.
These components can be vitamins, minerals, fibre, probiotics, prebiotics, antioxidants, among others.
Why are functional foods important?
Because they help us prevent disease, strengthen our immune system, improve our
digestion, reduce stress and increase our energy. In short, they help us live a fuller and
healthier life.

moderation.
- Oily fish: Rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which are essential for heart and brain health.
- Green tea: Contains antioxidants that help protect your cells from oxidative damage.
- Turmeric: This spice has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
