Functions of intravenous Vitamin C in our body

Hello, Hello...!!!! You always hear me talk, when I work with the Center for Regenerative Medicine, about intravenous vitamin C and its benefits, it is one of my favorite therapies, I feel every time I use it that it nourishes my body and fills it with energy.

As we all know, vitamin C is a nutrient found in food and in many nutritional food supplements, these are ingested orally and it is important to consume it daily, but vitamin C applied intravenously is much more effective since the amount is much greater than what can be ingested orally.

It is true that we get vitamin C in food, but we do not always get the amounts the body needs, much of it is discarded by the body. We need vitamin C to form blood vessels, cartilage, muscles and collagens in the bones, and it also helps in the body's healing processes.

It is of vital importance to know that our body does not produce vitamin C, therefore, it is important to obtain it in our daily diet, both in food and in supplements, and at least once a month to use it intravenously in high doses (important with medical supervision).

I would like to name some of the benefits of intravenous vitamin C:

· It stimulates and strengthens the immune system, important always, not only after Covid.

· It gives us more energy.

· Improves wound healing and reduces symptoms caused by allergic reactions.

· Contributes positively in processes of liver detoxification.

· Helps the production of collagen, the main constituent of cartilage, tendons, ligaments and bones.

· Maintains the integrity of gums, teeth, blood vessels.

· Maintains the integrity of gums, teeth, blood vessels.

· Raises good cholesterol (HDL) and lowers bad cholesterol (LDL).

· Strengthens the respiratory system.

· It has antioxidant effects.

· Prevents damage caused by free radicals that lead to cellular and DNA damage.

· Exerts antidepressant action.

· Different scientific studies affirm that it serves as an adjuvant in different types of cancers.

As you can see, it has many benefits, but I will reinforce that to be used intravenously it must be under the supervision of a health specialist.
